8/6/24 – End Behaviors

Summary: Today we reviewed End Behaviors of graphs. These are the two “arms” of the graph.

In this graph example, the left arm goes up and the right arm goes down. We would write this as…

x→-∞ y→∞
x→∞ y→-∞

which translates to…

x→-∞ y→∞ (LEFT arm UP)
x→∞ y→-∞ (RIGHT arm DOWN)

We can use chart below to to describe the four directions; LEFT, RIGHT, DOWN, UP.
